About Me

I am twelve years old and LDS I have just started Beehives and am in the Beehive class presidency.
Turning twelve in the LDS religion is like going from Elementary school strait to high school. You go from class party's and "Singing time" and "sharing time" with a bunch of younger kids on Sundays,
to having something called Mutual on Wednesdays where you do activity's and work on personal progress (the young woman's work book) or once a month we combine with the boys. (this is when the Mutual insanity really earned its name) Girls are also going into Young woman's which are for girls 12-17. This is split up into three groups.
  • Beehives ages 12 and 13 (Me)
  • Mia Maids ages 14 and 15
  • Laurel ages 16 and 17 (some of the older girls I know call this group the "Lucky ones" because they are allowed to go out on dates, but personally I don't see the appeal..........yet)
At Eighteen they graduate to release society with all the young, middle aged, and elderly woman. Or they have the choice to stay in young woman's until they are nineteen.

So follow me a first year Beehive as I climb the spiritual ladder of womanhood in a LDS church.
